In 2011, Shine Aviation added a Beechcraft 1900D to its fleet. The 19-seat aircraft services Midwest mining companies to access remote mine sites.
Whilst operating predominantly in the Midwest region of Western Australia, Shine Aviation offers flights and aviation services to anywhere in Australia.
Shine Aviation is dedicated to providing safe, professional, and personalised service to all of our clients every time they travel on one of our aircraft.

- Contracted to provide Australian Maritime Safety Authority search and rescue operations in the Mid West and Gascoyne

- Flight school providing advanced training for commercial, instrument, and instructor students
- In-house CASA CAR30 Approval to operate our own aircraft engineering maintenance facility in Geraldton

BARS Registration
Shine Aviation Services is registered under the Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) through the Flight Safety Foundation, a U.S.-based international organisation primarily focused on aviation safety worldwide. We have been registered with this standard since 2014, and in August 2016 we obtained Gold Status.
The BARS standard was developed from an industry-identified need to establish a common global aviation safety audit protocol applicable to aviation activities, including the movement of company personnel in challenging and/or remote environments. The BARS model ensures that all registered companies are consistently audited and benchmarked to the same standard, no matter the size of the company, fleet, or operations.
Shine Aviation Services views this standard as an important step towards its vision of being a sustainable industry leader through continual improvement.
BARS registration acts as a safety standard and is used by major resource companies, NGO/Aid agencies, and government agencies around the world.
